Scriptures Regarding the Re-gathering and the

Preservation of the People of Yahuweh in These Last Days

I.   The Restoration of Yahuweh’s people to the Land and Millennial Blessings

The Abrahamic Covenant:  Genesis 12:1-3; 15:1-18; 15:1-18; 17:1-8, 19

             Renewed with Isaac:  Genesis 26:2-5

Renewed with Jacob (Israel):  Genesis 32:27-30; 35:10-12

The return of the twelve tribes (plus the two tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh--sons of Joseph) back to their homeland promised by Yahuweh, Elohim of Israel, to Abraham, is one of the greatest signs that Yahushua, our Savior, is soon to return and establish His kingdom on earth.  Also, the detailed preparation (now almost completed) for their survival in a literal geographical place, during the 3 ½ years of great tribulation, is a sure sign that the fulfillment of all things is at hand.

Not only is the “House of Judah” returning (Jews), which can be numbered by documentation, but also the whole House of Israel (also called the House of Joseph and the House of Ephraim), which cannot be numbered (Hosea 1:10; 3:4-5). The House of Israel is referred to as “the lost tribes”.  The House of Israel is as the stars of heaven and as the sand of the sea, because they were scattered into all nations and lost their identity. They are called now, “the sons of the living God”.  Many are now finding that identity and coming home to the Land of Israel.  Most of these “lost tribes” of biological Israel are the Christians from the Christianized nations of today.

Right along with the restoration of the nation of Israel in 1948, and the re-claiming of Jerusalem in 1967, this ingathering, which began before 1900, all point to the final days before Messiah’s return, which most of the prophetic writings address.

Israel was divided into 2 separate kingdoms after the death of Solomon—the northern kingdom, called Israel, and the southern kingdom called Judah, each with their own King.  The northern kingdom included 10 tribes plus Ephraim and Manasseh (sons of Joseph).  This kingdom is referred to as the “House of Joseph”.  It is also called the “House of Ephraim”, because Ephraim held the authority of the birthright for all the tribes.  The southern kingdom included the major tribe of Judah, which held the ruling scepter of all the tribes, and the tribes of Benjamin, and most of the tribe of Levi. The term “Jew” refers to Judah only, and was a cheap nickname that came from their 70 years of captivity in Babylon.  “Jew” only refers to those in the southern kingdom.  (“Jew” was first used in Scripture in the book of Esther).

The northern kingdom--the House of Israel--was scattered into the nations of the earth as a result of their captivity by the Assyrians, around 722BCE (I Kings 17:6-24).  The word “nations” is “gentile” or “goyim” in Hebrew.   These sons of Jacob became known as gentiles, though they were/are still biologically the northern “House of Israel”, or Ephraim.  All of His people outside of His Land are in “captivity”--in the Diaspora--that includes His people in the United States and Western Europe--in which areas are the greatest concentration of biological Israel.

Judah was later exiled to Babylon, around 586BCE (II Kings 24:10-16).  The Jews were also scattered to all nations as a result of the Babylonian captivity, and the destruction of their Temple in 70CE by the Romans.

In Ezekiel 37, and other key passages, we see that the Father, the Elohim of Israel, is returning His 12 plus 2 tribes back to their inheritance in the Land of modern Israel. Judah has returned first, as the Scriptures said they would. (Zechariah 12:7) When Messiah comes, all tribes will have their original land inheritance restored to them—including those tribes that chose to stay east of the Jordan—Gad, Reuben, ½ of the tribe of Manasseh, and ½ of the tribe of Dan. (Ezekiel 48)

The two sticks of the two Houses are coming together in Father’s hands to make one stick—one nation, one people again, restored in Messiah Yahushua—the King over all of His people.  All those people who are not of biological Jacob, who receive Messiah’s sacrifice and resurrection for their salvation, enter the “commonwealth of Israel” and Israel’s covenants, by faith, and receive inheritance in His kingdom. (Ephesians 2:8-19; Ezekiel 47:21-23; Romans 11:15-27, Jeremiah 31:31-34 with John 1:29)

Sample passages to study on the restoration of all of the tribes to their Land:

Isaiah:  2:1-4; 11:1-16; chapter 35; 43:4-6; 49:22; 52:6-10; chapter 54; 56:8, and chapter 62

Jeremiah:  3:12-19; 16:14-16; 23:3-8; 24:3-8; 30:7-10; 31:31-36; 32:37-42; and 33:7-26

Ezekiel:  11:16-20; 28:25-26; 34:11-16, 22-26; 36:24-28 with Hosea 1:10-11 and Jeremiah 50:4; 39:25-29

Hosea:  1:10-11; 2:14-23; 3:4-5; Amos:  9:11-15; Zechariah:  2:4-13; 12:1-10; 13:1; 14:1-5

Most of the promises of restoration, salvation and deliverance that are promised to His people will happen as He returns, and shortly after in His kingdom.

II.               Preservation of a remnant of all of Israel (House of Jacob) during the 3 ½ years of “Jacob’s troubles”-- (Jeremiah 30:7)—“The Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:15-22)

Edom: the geographical area of preservation:  Sela/Petra/Mt. Seir (southern-middle modern Jordan).

From Petra (Sela, Mt. Seir, Edom, Dumah) to Bozrah--two literal places in southern-mid modern Jordan.

The Horites (rock dwellers): Genesis 14:6; 36:20-21 (The father of the Horites was Mr. Seir).

Edom (Esau’s land): Genesis 36:1, 8-9; and the ancestry of Moab and Amman: Genesis 19:30-38.

Modern Jordan is divided into the 3 ancient people-group areas: Edom, Moab and Amman.  The two southern regions, still clearly marked by land boundaries (ancient rivers) are the area that Elohim is allowing to be prepared, by the wealth of the world system, for the fleeing of His people, and the preservation of His marked remnant--in the time of Jacob’s troubles. (Jacob was the father of all the tribes).

Please carefully read these Scriptures, in context, regarding the preservation of His people in “the last days”:  Daniel 11:41; Revelation 12:6, 17; Isaiah 16:1-5; 33:14-17; 26:20-21 (“chambers” means “holes in the rocks”); Zephaniah 2:3; Matthew 24:15-22 and Luke 21:20-21 (the “mountains” always referred to the Seir mountains of Edom, which are very high--to the East; the “wilderness” refers to the land east of the Jordan River); Isaiah 2:10-22 with Revelation 6:15-17; Jeremiah 30:23-31:3; Psalm 107:2-7, 29-30, 35-56; 108:9-13; Amos 9:9-13; and the book of Obadiah, plus other Scriptures on the destruction of Edom eventually, as He comes, from such passages as Jeremiah 49:7-22.  Yahushua returns over Edom: Isaiah 63:1-6.

III.              Yahushua Comes To--His return path:

East to West like lightning:  Matthew 24:27

To Mt. Sinai: To the place of the original marriage covenant with Israel: Deuteronomy 33:2

To Edom:  Isaiah 63:1; Psalm 108:10 (Regarding Edom at His coming in wrath:  Isaiah 11:11-16;

Jeremiah 49:7-22; Ezekiel 25:12-15; Joel 3:19-21; Amos 1:11; 9:11-12; Malachi 1:4-5; the book of Obadiah.)  Edom, as a place, in the Word, is mentioned second only to Jerusalem/Zion/Israel.

To Teman:  Habakkuk 3:1-3; Amos 1:12

To Mt. Seir (Petra/Sela):  Deuteronomy 33:2 (The preservation in the caves of the ancient Horites, Esau’s people, and Nabateans, who are descendants of Esau and Ishmael’s daughter)

To Bozrah (the sheep fold):  Isaiah 63:1; Micah 2:12; Jeremiah 49:22

To the Mt. of Olives:  Zechariah 14:4-5 with Jude 14 and Revelation 19:11-16;

Regarding the “battle of Armageddon”: Read the extent of it in Revelation 16:15-16; Rev. 17:14; Rev. 19:15-21 and 14:18-20.  The nations assemble at Megiddo, in the Jezreel Valley north of Jerusalem, to come against Messiah and His set-apart people who are with Him.  He speaks a Word, and it is over.  Refer to this also in Zechariah 14:1-15.

Other Scriptures Messiah’s Second Coming:  Matthew 24:29-31; Revelation 19:11-16; Isaiah 63:1-6; Isaiah 40:3-10; Isaiah 34:1-8; 42:11-15; 59:16-28; Rev. 11:14-19 with I Corinthians 15:51-52 (at the “last trumpet”); I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Philippians 3:20-21; I John 3:1-3; Matthew 13:24-30; 36-43 and 47-50; John 5:25, 28-29; Daniel 12:1-3; Rev. 20:4-6; Rev. 6:12-13; Rev. 14:20, Jude 14-15, Zephaniah 1, Isaiah 2; Isaiah 13; Ezekiel 7 and more.

Yahushua comes with His Father’s wrath.  There is only a 3½-year tribulation spoken of in several verses in Scripture--not one verse in the Scriptures even alludes to a 7-year tribulation.  His wrath is over quickly, because no flesh can withstand His direct wrath.  He will hide a marked remnant in the 30 square miles of caves in Edom.

Study the Word for yourself, hear the Ruach ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) for yourself, and find out what the Father has for you in the near future.  Don’t waste your time on men’s opinions and speculations. Don’t waste your time fascinating your intellect with knowledge without radical lifestyle change.  Truth demands change, or it falls to the ground as useless--a typical condition in these end times.  (Isaiah 59:14) Get your information from Yahuweh Himself. The Ruach is our Teacher.  Lay aside your self-life, your own will, your agenda, for nothing else matters except your relationship with Him.  He will hide a set-apart marked remnant in this place of Edom and Moab, but to be marked by Him for preservation is by His choosing alone.

He will preserve an “alive and remaining” remnant, but there will be multi-millions of martyrs, and multi-millions who will deny Yahushua.  Nuclear holocaust is near—WWIII. The Word has a lot to say about it in modern terminology--like II Peter 3:10-14 and Zechariah 14:12; and Isaiah 24:5-6, 19-22.   It has a lot to say about the one-world government that has been officially ruling the world since May 1999, and end-time events that are now happening.

He is preparing Edom and Moab, using the one world government’s billions of dollars, for the preservation of His people.  It is a reality down to the last detail!  The food, water, King’s highway, military, port, airport, and many other details have been taken care of, to secure the world leaders their place in the time of WWIII, (Revelation 6:15-17).  Into this prepared place, He will bring His remnant.  (Revelation 12:6,17, Daniel 11:41)  The spiritual safe zone is always Psalm 91:1-4--in a loving intimate relationship with Elohim.
